5 (And the Lord gave Israel a [a]deliverer, so that they came out from under the subjection of the Aramites. And the children of Israel [b]dwelt in their tents as [c]beforetime.
6 Nevertheless, they departed not from the sins of the house of Jeroboam which made Israel sin, but walked in them, even the [d]grove also remained still in Samaria)
7 For he had left of the people to Jehoahaz but fifty horsemen, and ten chariots, and ten thousand footmen, because the king [e]of Aram had destroyed them, and made them like dust beaten to powder.
